While in New Orleans, Rosemary founded the Krewe Du Faye Fairy Parade, which continues to march at Mardi Gras on the Friday before Fat Tuesday.
Seven wonderful years were spent in New Orleans until in August 2006, Hurricane Katrina flooded the historic city. Rosemary's costume art studio received a foot of water and her career in Jackson Square came to an end. She has lived in her native Atlanta, since she evacuated the storm but continues to make a living from Henna Tattooing, Body Art and Costuming for festivals and private events. More recently her focus has been of a spiritual matter, traveling, working with wild animals and studying shamanism with curanderos of South America. You can read more about her current life in her blog at www.theadventuresofathena.blogspot.com.
Over the years Rosemary was involved in so many events that it is impossible to list them all here. More press from this time period can be found on the Press link. You can learn more about her current work and her recent artistic accomplishments by visiting the Events and Bio pages of this website.
